Gustave is a young house devoted to crocodile-embossed leather. We work in a single material and keep the collection small, so that the texture of the leather does the talking.
The bags
Our bags are made from cowhide with a crocodile pattern pressed deep into the leather, down to the domed hornback scales. The Deauville Travel Bag is a structured travel bag in cognac, finished with polished brass hardware, two rolled top handles and an adjustable, detachable shoulder strap; inside, it takes the essentials for a few days away and a laptop up to 15.6 inches. The Biarritz Crossbody is a compact bag in black or brown, with a front flap, magnetic closures and room for a tablet, phone, wallet and passport.
The mules
The Antibes Mule is made from soft crocodile-embossed nubuck, with a hand-stitched moccasin detail, a smooth leather lining and a cushioned insole on a lightweight, light-cream rubber sole. The back is open, so it slips on in a moment. It comes in six quiet colours: olive, navy, slate, brown, black and white.
